Nick Allen from Stoke-on-Trent, launched a claim for compensation after suffering serious injuries in a car accident.
The 23-year-old was a passenger in a friend’s car when the driver hit the curb and lost control, causing the vehicle to flip over, before colliding with a lamppost.
Nick was knocked out in the accident, in March 2003, and suffered a head injury, a broken leg, several broken fingers and cuts and bruises to his face, arms and legs.
The driver, who had been drinking, did not have a current driving license or insurance.
Thanks to TJL Solicitors Nick, who could not work for several months following the crash, was awarded £11,000 compensation for his pain and suffering and loss of earnings.
